Coaxial slot antennas currently designed and manufactured for the Wideband Bow-Tie Slot Antennas with Tapered Tuning Stubs (CPW) is investigated. The design was realized using a tapered metal stub introduced in the middle of the bow-tie slot. The modified structure shows wider bandwidth over the conventional bow-tie slot antenna.
